Weaponized Wither
Description: Wither is a disease that attacks a Strain’s infection itself, slowly weakening the body and eventually severing the connection between the infected and the Mortis Amaranthine.
Identifiable with Basic Medical AND Lore: Mortis Amaranthine/Infection.
Stage 1 - Tender spots. Take 1 extra damage from all sources. Treat with Basic Medical, 0 Mind Points and 20 Minutes of roleplaying removing tainted infectious material from joints.
Stage 2 - Bruise easily. Take 2x as much effort to heal the target. (Combine with Stage 1) Treat with Basic Medical, 5 Mind Points and 20 Minutes of roleplaying removing tainted infectious material from joints & extremities.
Stage 3 - Heal slowly. Takes 3x the effort to heal you. (Replaces Stage 2) Treat with Basic Medical, 5 Mind Points and 20 Minutes of roleplaying removing tainted infectious material from joints, extremities & torso.
Stage 4 - Visible sores. Highly Infectious. (Combine with Stages 1 & 3) Treat with Proficient Medical, 10 Mind Points and 20 Minutes of roleplaying removing tainted infectious material from entire body.
Stage 5 - Body cannot sink and be ‘reborn’ unless corpse is buried w/ infectious material. (Combine with Stages 1, 3 and 4) Treat with Master Medical w/ Mortis Amaranthine OR Graverobber, 10 Mind Points and 20 Minutes of roleplaying removing tainted infectious material from entire body.
