The Order of the Guiding Hand

Description: A subsect of the Sainthood of Ashes this group was mostly comprised of Rovers and Nation of Accensors, but lately many Townies have flocked to the group. Since the Great War they have become a trading partner with larger groups across the Riverlands. They all still wear the same patch and focus on helping Blue Birds and those still new to the wasteland.

Local Augment: Leather Wrappings - This Armor Attachment provides extra layers of armor useful for preventing gnashing teeth from piercing your flesh.
Mechanics: When applied to armor, you become immune to the Cannibalism skill. When hit with the Cannibalize skill call “No Effect, Leather Wrapped”  Expires in 3 months.

Local Augment: Reinforced Shield Straps - This Shield attachment is designed to make the quick movements required for defending others easier to do.
Mechanics: Allows Interfered blows to be sent to armor first instead of to body. You may spend 5 Mind and Interfere an AOE for one other target. If you do so you take 10 body damage. Expires in 3 months.

Available Proficient Purchase (10 local currency + modifier) 

Local Augment: Mill Mechanisms - This Grind Mill augment allows workers to pull dangerous parts of the mill out to intimidate any would-be foes.
Mechanics: You may have multiple Mill Mechanisms attached to a single Grind Mill. While using the Grind Mill you may spend 1 Mind and point at foe and call “Fear 1 Minute!”. Doing so does not interrupt you using the Grind Mill. For each additional Mill Mechanism you have attached to this Grind Mill increases the duration of Fear by 1 minute each. Expires in 3 months.

Local Augment: Crystalline Focus Plates - This Armor Attachment allows the wearer to focus their Anomaly abilities to greater effect.
Mechanics: Whenever you use an Anomaly skill that heals Body, you may spend an additional 2 Mind to add “Upsurge 5 Body” to the call. If the skill targets multiple people you must spend 2 Mind per person. Expires in 3 months.

Local Gizmo: Honorary <FAITH> Badge - This symbol of your faith is for those who are not of your faith, but embody the spirit of it.
Mechanics: This item allows the holder to counter as a member of X Faith for the purposes of all skills and effects that require a specific faith to use. You may only benefit from 1 Honorary <Faith> Badge regardless of the number you have. Expires in 3 months.

Local Augment: Engraving of Faith - This melee weapon attachment reminds you of your cause and what drives you to keep fighting.
Mechanics: When you become the target of any Faithful skill you deal +1 damage for 5 minutes afterwards. This does not stack with other damage increases. Expires 3 months.
