Greetings Fam!! Get Ready for A super long Pro-Tip Thursday!!! Yes I know what you are saying.. Dude, its Friday… Ok I was really busy yesterday!!! This two week turn around is killing the staff for sure! So thank you for your patience
OK enough whining and excuses!!! Pro-Tip Time!
Today our Pro-Tip is all about next weekend's first live game at RSR!!!!
We are all super excited to start our live games back up again and start in a brand new place that is just waiting for us to go tell new stories! Hopefully you guys are ready to go do it!!
So in order to do that well, I thought I would spend the time here to talk about changes to the routine that we will have with our new site.
So let's get this rig rolling!
First thing we want to make sure you know is where is Check In! When you turn into the Ranch off of Boy Scout Road, You will see the Rangers House on the right. You will take the left that leads into the ranch. You will drive 2 miles on this road until you reach the lodge. Remember this is a dirt road with lots of potholes. So remember the speed limit is 20 miles per hour. You will see the Lodge at the top of the hill. Its a large white building you cannot miss by itself on top of a hill.
We will allow people on site after 2 pm on Friday! The good news is that you are allowed to drive on site. You can drive to your campsite or to below the hill of the cabins. The road to the cabins is very rough and there is only room for one vehicle at a time. So make sure you are being super safe if you decide to drive up there. We actually recommend you park at the bottom of the hill by the Caboose and walk you stuff up. Its not very far we promise! Then you can stop by the dining hall and drop off any cold food for storage in walk-in or freezer.
There are tons of campsites to choose from on the site!
You can camp on any site or choose to make a tent city in the large field by the dining hall!
Once you are done you can move your car to the parking lot. This is really close to our game area so we will be referring to it as the DJ Graveyard and it will be an OOG space. So if you need something from your car it's quick to get. So you don't have to keep everything in your tent or cabin.
So Other things to remember:
Genred eating plates and utensils. This camp does not have plates and cups for you to use. Yes, full kitchen w pots and pans. But no plates, cups or forks. So be prepared.
Please mark your food in freezers and walk in.
When you cook in the kitchen you clean your mess up!! There is not a Dishwasher on this site. All dishes must be hand washed.
