May - Things We Leave Behind
Quiet Folk: there’s a group of Quiet Folk that cropped up nearby and they’ve done a little trade and a little stuff here and there, are they really as wholesome as they appear? We’re going to give ya’ll the opportunity to take a closer look at them this month.
Crystal Chaos: this is just going to be the start of an overarc that runs from May through November. Reports are that aberrant skills and users aren’t quite acting right. Typical for Crystal Creek right?
Raise Your Ragged Sail: Representatives of the Riversea Harbor Market are coming to town to ask the groups of Crystal Creek to come partake in the festivities and commerce.
June
Raise Your Ragged Sail: Riversea Harbor market is a once in a blue moon opportunity. Caravans and ships come together to set up an area to find rare items, network with people and other caravans, and make a profit before everyone once again disperses to the wind and the seas. Through this arc, the town of Crystal Creek has been invited to sell a variety of Kudzu based products (and the raw materials to make it.) There will be grand parties, and a lot of glamor on the surface, almost as if to show off how much of a profit you’ve made. There will also be an undertone of mystery and intrigue as things don’t go quite as smoothly as the major players want. There are factions who will be trying to undermine others, as well as rising tensions as not everyone has fully adapted to the tumultuous environment of the new Riverlands.
Crystal Chaos: Reports from the various factions come in about the odd behavior of both abberants and their skills. Different factions have different theories of course, but in the end the only part that matters is what you believe.
Saints & Sinners: Atlas (a pacifistic anti-religious group) and One Heart (a pacifistic pro-religious group) is planning to visit with Crystal Creek residents at the Riversea Market. Rumor has it that they are looking to have a few members gain residence in Crystal Creek town limits.
July
Prison Infiltration: An opportunity has come for those brave enough to be smuggled into the Iron Pike’s hulking mobile prison-ship. What kind of opportunity? Several! Revenge on former enemies, access to rare materials and even items useful and helpful in future situations (/stares at other plotlines).
Crystal Chaos: Rumors are that one of the widowmakers who was sentenced to prison-time with the Iron Pike took some maps of the caves with him. Another took engineering schematics for the elevator and shaft. Hopefully they can be recovered.
Saints & Sinners: More rumors - but this time of holy relics of every faith being stowed away in various nooks and crannies. Even more intriguing is that supposedly there’s a weapon that would help the faithless defend themselves against aberrants.
Quiet Folk: One of Shamus’s (leader of these Quiet Folk) enemies is imprisoned here and it’s thought that helping him escape would secure some valuable intel on the mysterious group.
