Rodgers Scout Reserve

Located just south of Booneville, Arkansas, Rogers Scout Reservation is approximately 45 miles from the Fort Smith area. This 2800 acre facility provides summer camping for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts

Directions to the site

Fortunately, GPS will get you there without much trouble and cell-signal is pretty good in the general area. Below are some additional directions:

Fayetteville/Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas in General:

• Take I-540 South out of Fort Smith

• Then take U.S. Highway 71 South

• Next go North on Arkansas Highway 23 and keep an eye out on your left for Rodgers Scout Reserve sign

Texarkana and Southwest Arkansas in General:

• Take U.S. Highway 71 North from Texarkana

• Then take Arkansas Highway 23 North and keep an eye out on your left for the Rodgers Scout Reserve sign

Little Rock and Central Arkansas in General:

• Take I-40 West from Little Rock

• Then take Arkansas Highway 363 South (Exit 88)

• Next take Arkansas Highway 247 North to Arkansas Highway 27 South/Arkansas Highway 7 South

• Next take Arkansas Highway 27 South and Arkansas Highway 10 West to Arkansas Highway 23 South and keep an eye out on your right for the Rodgers Scout Reserve sign

The nearby town of Booneville, while small, has the stores and restaurants to see to most of your last-minute shopping needs (including a Wal-Mart Supercenter).
